Our Kiwi Roots
Our story begins when our founder, after years of experience in large-scale furniture manufacturing, moved to the stunning shores of New Zealand. Inspired by the country's breathtaking natural beauty and relaxed way of life, he saw a disconnect between the environment people loved and the furniture they lived with.
The market offered two extremes: legacy brands with sky-high designer price tags, or mass-produced "fast furniture" that lacked quality, style, and a conscience. Where were the beautiful, high-quality, and healthy furniture options for the everyday home?
From this question, Proferlo was born. We opened our first showroom in Auckland with a clear mission: to fill that gap. We created a range of furniture that reflected the feeling of New Zealand—clean, natural, and built to last.
