Yes — Proferlo furniture uses E0-rated board, the strictest common formaldehyde emission class, and our board independently tested at just 0.032 mg/m³ — 36% below even the E0 ceiling of 0.050 mg/m³, and roughly a quarter of what standard E1 flat-pack board is permitted to emit.

How is Proferlo furniture quality tested?
Every claim we make is verified by the CNAS-accredited Guangxi Forestry Research Institute (report GJBC-2025-0283) — not self-declared. Screw-hold strength tested up to 72% above the standard minimum, bending strength 38% above, and two-hour moisture swelling at 1.2% against a permitted 8%.

How long does engineered board furniture last?
It depends entirely on the board grade — and that's the difference you're paying for. Proferlo board exceeds every strength minimum in the GB/T 4897 standard, with all four edges of every panel sealed against moisture. Typical flat-pack built to bare minimums often loosens and swells within a couple of years.

The bed came with easy to follow instructions. Looks terrific and works very well. We are very happy.
Great bed and fun to assemble
Bed is nice and sturdy. Looks great. Cam Lock covers for the side of the drawers would finish off the look of the drawers.

Once assembled, you end up with a high quality piece of furniture that looks great and gives a perfectly flat surface for our very heavy mattress .
Overall great value for fantastic quality.
Only one minor negative is the crazy amount of styrofoam used for packing, I absolutely abhor this stuff as it is a horrible pollutant and almost impossible to get rid of.
Please look at maybe replacing this terrible stuff with paper and Papier maché protection .

Storage is great! Love the idea of this bed, the quality seems great, colour is amazing and material seems great too! The headboard gives the bed a really good look. Assembly was easy but needed atleast 3 people to fix it all up,

In India we don't have slat style beds like AU, we have solid board. This proferlo bed mimics indian style bed best and after a long time I could enjoy my mattress with support of solid board (instead of keeping mattress on floor for solid support)

Totally love this bed, the wooden materials of this bed were so solid and the corner of the bed has been curved so it was very child friendly. Lots of storage underneath the bed. I am very happy with the quality of this bed.
I was a bit unsure of the quality of the bed when I brought it but it far surpassed my expectations. It's really solid, beautiful and really good value for money. Nice finishing touches like the corners. The instructions were clear and easy to follow bar a few small steps we had to play around a bit to figure it out. Loved the cool multifunction screw driver that came with. Highly recommend this bed base.
