Grade A — unused, carton opened or damaged. Complete and unmarked. Grade B — minor cosmetic marks, each listed and photographed. Never structural. Grade C — as Grade B, plus a part missing that is not needed for use or safety (for example a floor board on a storage bed). Every missing part is listed.

Questions people ask before they buy

What is a Second Chance unit?

A piece that came back to our Acacia Ridge warehouse: a change-of-mind return, a carton damaged in transit, or a repacked unit we can't sell as brand-new boxed stock. Each one is inspected, graded and photographed. It is not ex-display. Proferlo is online only and has no showroom.

What do the grades mean?

Grade A is unused: the carton was opened or damaged, the contents are complete and unmarked. Grade B has minor cosmetic marks, and every mark is listed with its size and location and photographed on the product page. Grade C is the same as Grade B, plus a part missing that is not needed for use or safety, for example a floor board on a storage bed; every missing part is listed. Nothing with structural damage is sold.

Where do you deliver Second Chance units?

Brisbane metro only. Enter your postcode on the product page to check. Every unit is assembled in your home by KitSet Brisbane, so these units can't go interstate or to regional Queensland.

How do delivery and assembly work?

After you order, we book delivery with Allied on our normal Brisbane timeframe. Once it's delivered, you get a link to book an assembly time directly with KitSet Brisbane. Keep the carton sealed until KitSet arrives: opening it early voids the warranty and any refund. Someone 18 or over needs to be home for both visits.

What warranty do I get, and can I change my mind?

The same warranty as new: 12 months on every product, and 3 years structural on bed frames and sofas. The marks listed on the product page are disclosed at sale and are not defects. Second Chance units are clearance stock, so change-of-mind returns are not available. Australian Consumer Law guarantees always apply.

How is Second Chance different from the Factory Reset Event?

Factory Reset is boxed clearance stock, shipped Australia-wide for you to assemble. Second Chance is single opened units, Brisbane only, delivered and built for you.
