We make it, we test it, we prove it
As the manufacturer, we know exactly what goes into every piece — and we publish the independent lab results, not just the claims.

| Screw and fitting hold | 1,030 N edge · 1,320 N face — tested | 600 N · 900 N minimum required |

Independently tested by the CNAS-accredited Guangxi Forestry Research Institute, report GJBC-2025-0283 (2025). Standard values are GB/T 4897-2015 minimum requirements and GB/T 39600-2021 emission class limits.
Is E0 board furniture safe for bedrooms and kids' rooms?
Yes — Proferlo furniture uses E0-rated board, the strictest common formaldehyde emission class, and our board independently tested at just 0.032 mg/m³ — 36% below even the E0 ceiling of 0.050 mg/m³, and roughly a quarter of what standard E1 flat-pack board is permitted to emit.
What that means for you: cleaner indoor air where it matters most — bedrooms, nurseries and kids' rooms — with no new-furniture chemical smell lingering for weeks.
How is Proferlo furniture quality tested?
Every claim we make is verified by the CNAS-accredited Guangxi Forestry Research Institute (report GJBC-2025-0283) — not self-declared. Screw-hold strength tested up to 72% above the standard minimum, bending strength 38% above, and two-hour moisture swelling at 1.2% against a permitted 8%.
What that means for you: drawers, hinges and cam fittings that stay tight through years of daily use, house moves and re-assembly — the exact points where cheap flat-pack fails first.
How long does engineered board furniture last?
It depends entirely on the board grade — and that's the difference you're paying for. Proferlo board exceeds every strength minimum in the GB/T 4897 standard, with all four edges of every panel sealed against moisture. Typical flat-pack built to bare minimums often loosens and swells within a couple of years.
What that means for you: furniture that outlasts the lease, the move and the next one — not a rebuy every few years.
Why do sealed edges matter in Australian homes?
Exposed board edges are the main failure point of flat-pack furniture — they absorb moisture from humid air, swell, and weaken joints over time. Every panel in Proferlo furniture is sealed on all four edges, not just the sides you can see, and our board tested at 1.2% moisture swelling against the 8% the standard allows.
What that means for you: furniture that stays flat, tight and true through humid Queensland summers and heated winters alike.
What certifications does Proferlo furniture have?
Proferlo furniture is FSC certified — timber traced to responsibly managed forests — and CARB Phase 2 compliant, meeting California's air-quality standard for composite wood, among the strictest in the world. Both are independently audited.
What that means for you: verified sourcing and verified low emissions, so you're not relying on a marketing department's word for either.

Beautiful table!
Greetings
I just wanted to share this with everyone, what a brilliant idea the Lecce foldable dining table / oak has regarding the 4 folding chairs that are hidden within this beautiful table.
This clever idea that I love the most is how easy it is to access the chairs from within the compartment of this table.
You would never know that there were 4 chairs inside
its erconomic design.
It is clever and so easy to use.
By having limited space in my lounge / dining room, hiding the chairs is a huge space saver for me.
Greetings to all.
This wonderful solid table which allows you to store the 4 chairs inside the main structure of the table is an absolute space saver.
The chairs are not included the the price of this table but I would really emphasize get them aswell.
I live alone and even though my place is not tiny I found my old table became a hassle to have as it overtook the space I so much needed.
What I love the most about this incredible space saving table is I can put down the side leaf after I have had dinner.
When I entertain I have the choice, depending how many friends are over" to just use one side leaf out or open out both sides .
It looks very homely and I use a nice tablecloth for special occasions.
The side leafs are rounded to which I prefer as there's nothing worse than been on the recieving end of a square edge of a table top.
The table when folded down on both sides to me is the best feature.
The table has castor's underneath " and can be locked if required " .
It anyone needs more space this folding table is worth every dollar I spent for it.
The wall it sits next to now looks like a sideboard, when not in use I put a vase of flowers on top and that is all it needs to look inviting and estically pleasing .
Forgot to mention, above the side cupboard for the chairs "there's also a drawer" both streamlined so well, if you didn't show someone they wouldn't know this clever design.
I use the draw for tablecloths and place matts.
I also recommend going online and check out their extensive range of other home and bedroom furniture as well.
I have my eye on a bedroom side table.
nice table!
Great table! Easy to use and lightweight enough to move around while still sturdy. Chairs are actually really comfortable as well.
The first table was damaged but the team quickly worked to replace it. I'm really happy with my purchase and the table looks exactly like the picture.
Perfect table for our apartment. . Love the versatility and the ability to keep chairs back inside without occupying space.
I was so surprised and happy to find this table when I dropped into the shop on spur of the moment. The staff were super friendly and very helpful in making sure my table arrived home safely. I love using this table for my jigsaws and can gold it away into a small space if I ever stop doing jigsaws. And a bonus is I can now use my dining table for meals!!

Great table for my small space. Can use it half folded away or open it out completely when I need to easily. Very solid and sturdy.
Awesome table. We can now have nice dinners as a family in our small house. As soon as the dinner is done, we'll fold the table and put it in a corner.
A pleasant surprise; it was already assembled when we received it!
Love this new addition to my home. Innovative design, so many features in one, adaptable to fit different spaces, sturdy and well made, with a choice of colour combination. I also appreciated prior notice of delivery day and time - altogether enjoyed my experience with your company.
