What materials is this furniture made from?

This piece combines solid kiln-dried hardwood where strength matters — frame, legs and load-bearing points — with certified E0 engineered board for large flat panels, where board actually outperforms solid timber because it won't warp, cup or split across wide surfaces.

Is the engineered board in this furniture safe?

Yes — the board components are E0 rated and independently tested at 0.032 mg/m³ formaldehyde, 36% below even the strictest E0 cap and roughly a quarter of what standard E1 flat-pack board may emit. They're also CARB Phase 2 compliant.
