Yes — Proferlo furniture uses E0-rated board, the strictest common formaldehyde emission class, and our board independently tested at just 0.032 mg/m³ — 36% below even the E0 ceiling of 0.050 mg/m³, and roughly a quarter of what standard E1 flat-pack board is permitted to emit.

How is Proferlo furniture quality tested?
Every claim we make is verified by the CNAS-accredited Guangxi Forestry Research Institute (report GJBC-2025-0283) — not self-declared. Screw-hold strength tested up to 72% above the standard minimum, bending strength 38% above, and two-hour moisture swelling at 1.2% against a permitted 8%.
What that means for you: drawers, hinges and cam fittings that stay tight through years of daily use, house moves and re-assembly — the exact points where cheap flat-pack fails first.
How long does engineered board furniture last?
It depends entirely on the board grade — and that's the difference you're paying for. Proferlo board exceeds every strength minimum in the GB/T 4897 standard, with all four edges of every panel sealed against moisture. Typical flat-pack built to bare minimums often loosens and swells within a couple of years.

First, these are solid; the boxes were much heavier than expected. I now understand why shipping was so much! Second, setup was an absolute doddle. The instructions left out one step--putting in some dowels on the top--but it was pretty obvious and everything else was straightforward. (I strongly recommend a power screwdriver!) I've only been using the dressers for a couple of days so can't speak to longevity, but I'm very happy with them. NB. Proferlo have now changed the name from Siena to Sotta but appear to be the same.
I bought 2 of these for my daughter’s bedroom and they are perfect.
Set up side by side they are perfect to sit her TV on as well as all her nicknacks, and deep drawers to hold her clothes.

Looks great and was easy to assemble. Its very heavy. Assemble in the place you want it to stay.
I only marked this down as the rear of the drawers is a little flimsy which wouldn't matter if it was against a wall. Really happy with the product for the price. Easy to follow instructions and I could put this together on my own.
Easy to build, great value and solid unit.
This tallboy is smart, solid and trendy. More solid than I had expected which is great.
The drawers though were far less deep than I had wanted and this is a big disappointed. Didn't make clear enough how lacking in depth they are.
The instructions for assembly were far short of the best but my wife and I got the tallbay assembled within 4 hours whereas I had thought it would take a couple of days.
The parts including the screws etc are of good quality.
Very well made, not like the flimsy stuff I've had in the past. Happy with this purchase.

So great to assemble, I’ve had to assemble all my furniture in our new place and this was the first piece I bought that came with its own multi tool !!! I didn’t own a screwdriver but now I do and I can use it for everything else. Easy to assemble, looks fantastic and super happy with the purchase
